What a treat! I got to work with the Zoological Museum of the University of Zurich and made a stopmotion animation for their dinos exhibit.
Check out their exhibit if you're ever out their way, the museum is amazing!
✨🐝 The varroa mite is a major threat to honeybees as a vector for disease and developmental problems, and can lead to colony collapse. Unfortunately it made its way to Australia last year.
Thanks to the ANU Bee lab for this commission. I trying to capture the feeling of standing on a hill on a bright spring day under an impossibly blue sky and listening to the bees buzz around with the smell of eucalyptus and tea trees in the sun, even if only for a few seconds.
I had some fun with these simplified 2D images of marine birds from the southern hemisphere for Timothee Bonnet at CEBC
They are small graphics for use in publications.
The amazing folks at Save the Snakes, South Africa commissioned this animation and graciously let me film the making-of. You can check them out here ~ https://savethesnakes.org/
